fahmy is an extraordinary professional very passionate strong willed character. baher is one of the most amazing family men i've ever met. if anyone has suffered out of all of this it is baher he has a wife and three children one of whom was born while he was in prison. i.t. was incredibly -- it was incredibly tough for him as someone so devoted to his family having to be where he is knowing he's innocent knowing that this is a huge mistake. we need to keep the focus on him and we don't quite know what's going to happen from here often in. i still feel -- here on in. i still feel a sense of concern and worry. if it's right for me to be free then it's right for all of them to be free. it was a very difficult moment walking out of that prison saying good-bye to those guys, not knowing how much longer they will have to put up with this. and then the ride to the airport was a sense of really wondering if it really was actually going to come to an end. because we've had an awful lot of false starts with this, and awful lot of false alarms, where we thought freedom was

fahmy. whether it's one or two the fact remains that this is a lower court with lousy judges who have in front of them the decision the written decision with reasons given by the egyptian court of appeal earlier this week that scrubbed out the convictions, threw it out and said that there was no evidence that these men were engaged in terrorism, the prosecution had brought no evidence that they were in any way complicit with the banned muslim brotherhood. there is as decision by a higher court, which ruled on the case that was brought against them and said there was simply no evidence so one would hope that by the 23, either the prosecution, which of course represents the government, owns up to the fact and withdraws the charge against the al jazeera one or al jazeera two, whatever it is on the 23rd and or at least that the lower court close it out. otherwise, we continue with this cat and mouse game that the egyptian authorities are playing with the journalists. >> jeffery robinson, thank y

i have begun to think of baher mohamed and mohamed fahmy as family. fahmy is a very strong willed character. and if anyone has suffered out of this it is ba he baher. he has a wife and three children one of whom was born while he was in prison. for him to be so devoted being where he is, this is a very huge mistake and only being able to see them on very occasional family visits and knowing now that he is going to have to spend an indeterminant period behind bars. we need to keep the focus on him because we don't know what's going to happen from here on. in prison on a daily basis the key is to stay fit physically, mentally and spiritually. so i made a very conscious effort to deal with all three of those things. to try to keep fit running in a very limited space keep up an exercise program keep mentally fit with study and spiritually fit too with meditation. through all of that, it was a way of kind of forcing a kind of discipline on myself and dealing with each day that came. and hopefully touch wood, i came out of it not too damaged. >> like peter
