they say that last night, rick warrick and his fiancee julia pearce pulled over their sonata on the lanes. warrick was changing the left hand tire when a car struck him and pearce. warrick was killed and pearce suffered nonlife threatening injuries. we'll have more on this story tonight at 11:00. hundreds of washington navyyard workers returned to building 197 this morning. that was the scene of the september 2013 shooting rampage ha killed 12 people. at a ceremony they celebrated the renovation and reopening. mike conneen joins us from the base in southeast. we hear the building has a new layout. >> extensive renovations turned this 200-year-old structure into a 21st century i.t. hub. it includes a memorial to the 2013 attack and navy officials promise they'll never be forgotten but today was also about moving forward with the new look and a new name. navy yard workers celebrated the reopening of building 197 now known as the humphries building named after joshua humphries who designed the nation's first war ships. commanders say it's a fitting symbol of resilience. >> 17 months ago, we
