mr. clerk. i'm introducing two items today. the first is expend resolution with the rec's department with $8 million the san francisco parks alliance on behalf of the south park improvement association. these fundings will be used for the renovation of south park. this is in incredibly exciting as i mentioned over again san francisco as the fewest and smallers parks in the city so the parks are incredibly important to our neighborhood and our district especially as we continue to absorb the vast majority of density and growth on behalf of the city. south park, i learned is the oldest park in san francisco. the land was acquired in 1987 and established as a park. this park was included in 2012 park as the san diego park. in 2009, the park improvement association embarked on a planning committee process for full renovation of the park. over the last 6 years, spia has been really successful in developing partnerships both public and private and now working very closely with the san francisco parks alliance and to make them an instrumental partner in supporting this rehab for this park. this grant will be used to enhance the recreation
