there are a lot of great magazines, "the new yorker" is a phenomenal magazine.e more narratives, or writerly. "the atlantic" is more thesis driven. i think i am biased towards that but when i dole out the sidney awards, barely a year has gone by, no year has gone by without something from both of these magazines.
