so adam posted this on my facebook page from toms river and you can see the snow really coating the trees down pretty heavily this afternoon and now the problem is the falling temperatures with the winds. the winds are howling gusting to 41 miles an hour out of the northwest and philadelphia and reading, 38 in allentown 43 miles an hour wind gusts in the poconos and 37 miles an hour wind gusts in millville and what these winds are doing is pulling down some very cold air. the winds will be with us right through the evening hours. so, the national weather service has posted a wind advisory for the southern half of our viewing area until midnight for wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour. the good news is about the winds the winds will be drying off a lot of roads. the problem with the wind, though, is that it's making it feel very cold and it is creating those wind chill factors. feels like 23 degrees in philadelphia, 19 in wilmington, 12 in reading. the wind chill in allentown is four and the wind chill in the poconos 2 degrees below zero and it's going to be a cold night and a very cold day
