one of the questions we get about the other wes moore because he stops abruptly in 2010 and i wanted to get equal weight to both my story and the other wes who is in a life sentence at a correctional institution. when i thought about this idea of telling him what happened afterwards, i knew that there was no way that i could tell him about my life since then and the other wes moore because it is impossible to give equal weight to my story. i can write about his life since 2000 in one paragraph. that's his life. that's the decisions he made and the life that he is now looks forward to every single day. is it, when they said why don't you write about your time in afghanistan coming your time working in the white house come your time doing these things and what that success has meant to you in actually caused me to pause for a second the word success and what that means because i felt like over the past decade it wasn't so much an easy line to define where i was and where i would be, but it was a constant search to find something that matters and to find a sense of impact and a sense of

you have a friend in wes moore -- you have a friend in greece who checks houses. he used to earn 3,000 euros, 800 euros. even those who are employed are on the edge well beyond it. when the poor get poorer it is not a radical event because the poor understand what it means to be poor. it is misery compounded by misery. when you are an architect, when you are a doctor, when you are a professional in the middle class there is an expectation of how you will live and suddenly the middle-classes of europe or southern europe were plunged into a life they never expected. for a great period of time there was expectation among the middle class that it was going to get better. this wasn't the way it was going to be. it has been six years since 2008 and it has only gotten worse. what you see happening in europe is the rise of the kind of parties you saw in the 1920s and 30s the extreme right wing parties for the most part and left-wing parties. all united in the idea that europe was a very bad idea and we want out. the right wing parties say by the way send the muslims home.

first we will hear from dr. kelly moore. dr. moore is the director of immunization at the tennessee department of health and she is responsible for promoting proper use of recommended vaccines as well as overseeing the response to outbreaks of vaccines preventable diseases. she has her undergraduate medical degrees from vanderbilt and masters of public health from harvard school of public health. i am completely objective, but the tennessee department is one of the finest. dr. mark sawyer is pediatric disease specialist from the university of california at san diego. he is also the medical director at san diego immunization partnership and involved in a variety of immunization practices and projects. dr. tim jackson is a pediatrician and the father of two hundred children who were recently exposed to measles in arizona. he is an every child by two immunization champion. every child by two is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing vaccination rates among children. his wife is in arizona and caring for the two children. i am grateful
