royal canadian mounted police are trying to catch up with that motorcyclist right there. as apparently driving recklessly and police tried to pull him over. that's when the guy took off on his blue harley. they believe theotorcycle was stolen. blowing through red lights. but this gets so much crazier. the guy riding the motorcycle, a maniac. rides into this shopping mall. >> up to the upper level parking lot, right by the wal-mart sign and he's gone. right up to the glass. >> oh, my gosh. she disappeared into there, but there could have been cameras inside this mall that can spot where he's going, right? >> right. and watch what they capture. >> whoa! >> the guy riding the harley comes ripping down the escalator of this wal-mart followed close behind by an officer. the chase continues. it's not over. he's still inside this wal-mart. watch shoppers jump out of the way here as he comes blasting through the automatic doors. still being chased on foot by officers. but the chase continues. and listen to the sound from the officers in the helicopter. >> [ bleep ]. >> they can't

the royal canadian mounted police, rcmp, respond to a silent alarm. >> a disturbed man holding a storet inside this qwik stop convenience store all caught on camera by an amateur photographer. the man says he has two improvised explosive devices, or ieds. to protect the public and contain the scene, police quickly close the street and divert traffic. a first blast inside the store knocks the door open. with all the commotion, a crowd gathers. people keep onlookers away from the store, but people can see enough to offer a running commentary. >> the next time that door opens, that's going. suddenly, they're shocked to see the assailant appear. threatening the clerk with a knife. the man baits the police, yelling "shoot me" several times. meanwhile, bystanders growing angry and impatient, attempt to negotiate with the hostage taker in their own way. >> let her go you [ bleep ] coward! >> quiet down. >> then without warning, just as police begin moving their canine unit into position, the man lets the hostage go. >> run! run! >> at this point police move in. >> shoot me, mother -- >> he ma

the royal canadian mounted police respond to a report of a man acting strangely in the internationalhe speaks russian, and that's it. no english. >> the confrontation quickly escalates. officers order the man, seen through the glass partition, to move back into an open area. he puts his hands in the air and turns around. they surround him and appear to try to communicate. police say he has an object, later identified as a stapler, in his hand. one of the officers fires a taser gun sending 50,000 volts of electricity into the man's body through two darts attached to a wire. he falls to the ground, screaming in pain. >> hit him again. hit him again. >> the man writhes on the ground in agony. officers pile on top and attempt to handcuff him. but a struggle ensues as airport personnel look on. officers continue to subdue the man. >> from what we know, they tasered him at least twice, possibly more. worry, how are they still fighting him off? >> nobody knows why. he just speaks russian. nobody knows why. >> as the man loses consciousness, police switch from tying to control him to checkin
