oakland at 65, freemont 67 and trivalley mid to upper 60s.his week we have changes coming our way. it has everything to do with this region of high pressure billing this taking the storm track and that rainfall we got and push it way north. hotter air is associated with it, but second thing it's doing, seen a lot of this this season a drive offshore winds. not overly gusty, but this winds take temperatures and really pushes them up there. by thursday, once that wind gets here, that drier, offshore wind temperatures are going to go from this 60s on wednesday up to the 70s thursday, and low 70s friday in san jose, and saturday, another 15 degrees above average. look at that 75 degrees here. sunny skies also san francisco getting in the low 70s. i would love to see rainfall, but it's not going to be on the map. finishing off with the snow totals if you mised it. 18 inches in sugar bowl. heavenly 14 no sierra storms this week. sunny skies, temperatures in the 40 s, and 50s, and the ski resorts will find a way to keep whatever snow they got this w

smoother drive south of there toward mission boulevard. 680 from the trivalley. you saw it on the earlier map. cheerer than we see on a typical tuesday. maybe a lighter flow for spring break weeks. northbound 101 shows a little bit of recovery so we may have cleared that crash north 101 at the tully off ramp. no lanes were blocked except for lanes of an off ramp itself and a distraction. farther north, earlier distraction has cleared. 87, lighter flow of traffic all over the south bay. the peninsula with no major delays either so we'll zoom out. the only slow stretch was hayward towards fremont, the nimitz, trivalley showing a nice, easy drive. walnut creek interchange, minimal slowing there. the upper east shore freeway all the way toward berkeley. no real drama. the metering lights are on at the bay bridge. that is one issue. the bay bridge toll plaza has a backup filling in all the lanes. so far a lighter volume of traffic there. we'll give you the live shot for san rafael as well. southbound 101 shows you that north bay. that's why we didn't see any slowing o

cloudy skies across the north pay. 62 there. 66 in the trivalley at 67. tonight the rain will fall.oon the sun will come back out and temperatures will be similar to where we are right now. mid 60s. wednesday wet roads are expected for the first half of the day because of this storm system moving through right now. it is will move through overnight. that's when we have the best chance for showers. future cast at midnight. 3:00 to 6:00 or 7:00 then we have widespread rain activity. then another system is expected to move plu northern california tem night over the same area where it is rhining right now. not for us though. we will only get that sholt of rain tonight. only producing about a tenth of an inch where it rains. where it doesn't rain you could see goose eggs across the bay area from san francisco down across san jose. the thing to note this map doesn't tell the true story of where it will rain but it gives you a good idea of how much it will rain. over the next 12 hours we could see a pew few showers out there. even the sierra will pick up snow tonight into tomorrow morning.
