all of this happening during a shift change this morning just after 6:30 here at colesville road and university boulevard. it became dramatic scene with the victim stuffing a head injury after getting hit on the head with the gun. the suspect's gun. and the victim then made his way across the street where he was eventually able to get some medical attention. now, montgomery county police tell us how all of this started. >> male clerk stated to officers that during a transition when he was getting off and another clerk was showing up for work male suspect announced a robbery, he had a black what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun. >> reporter: the suspect then took off on foot and headed in the direction of montgomeryh gomgomery blair high school. chopper 4 was over the scene when police were working with the school to get arriving children inside as quickly as possible. for most of the morning there was restricted access to the school as police searched inside and around that area for any sign of an armed man. the school is back open for normal operations this morning. now, the s
