we are in the sixth year now, putting on muck fest. we are so excited for tomorrow.k run through boot camp style obstacles in the mud, it is in the just about getting muddy though, and raising fund for m. is. we are almost at our goal. and on our way to folks to get out, raise fund, make donations but all about finding cure for ms. >> we have a celebrity, a superstar, a great family, david oddman his birthday is in august. how are you doing. >> safe to say, so excited to be out here. these guys put the fun in fund raising. i'm so excited to be here. passionate about the ms movement. i'm a music artist. years ago i had to give up music because i was diagnosed with relapsing ms and i was in the wheelchair paralyzed from the chest down, crushing pain, eye site, but i'm able to manage it. i still have ms but it doesn't have me. i'm trying to spread word and help people along and give back is least i can do. i make my noise through music. i wrote a song and teamed up with some friend to launch a campaign called our voice in song. it business helping people realize there i

i was asked to be part of the juried super fest film festival. those of you that are not familiar with it. super fest is the longest running film festival that is about people with disabilities and generally by people with disabilities. it took place in enchanted hills camp p. which is part of the height house for the blind camp. in napa the first weekend in may. the committee through the paul lawn institute. screened about 80 films. we watch the about 20 of them. starting late friday evening to early sunday. there was a lot of popcorn. bean bags. and coffee. the longest was 75 minutes. the shortest film was three minutes. they had an interesting process. where. if we watch the film. we would stop five minutes into it. and take a vote about whether we want to go on and watch it. i have to say. for the most part. there were only two films. we said. we're done. we can't watch any more. they're well screened by the committee. and very interesting. that is really all i can tell you. it's a very interesting experience. all the people that were part of

back at a future meeting, we will have nice things to show, and have anjelo, commissioner king love fest when he comes back. he let us all know recently he has new responsibilities and new things he working on that sound exciting, he will let us know about, but he's no longer able to serve at the commission. that means we have a vacancy in the role of vice president of the commission and one of the ideas i wanted to kind of share and put out there and see what folks think is what i have enjoyed being on the commission the past several years, is everybody learning gaining, sharing, leadership roles, we have our amazing chair of the policy committee. chair wald and all the amazing things she does. we have a new chair of the operations committee, commissioner stephenson, and all of the things that she does. i might be putting her on the spot just a little bit, but i have seen some amazing leadership grow through the search to find our amazing director director raphael last year working on the search committee with me also doing work to help us have a really strong budget at the budget commi
