we're also joined by jim cavanagh, retired atf agent and msnbc law enforcement analyst. thank you all for being here. >> good to be here reverend. >> good to be with you, reverend. >> congressman, let me start with you. how important was it for the new attorney general to travel to baltimore today? >> i think it was extremely important. here's a woman who has an impeccable background in law enforcement, u.s. attorney in new york, and i think that it demonstrates to the people in baltimore and frankly people who have been adversely affected by the -- by the happenings over the last couple of weeks that the federal government is in fact going to be involved that the federal government is not going to push this under a rug and that the federal government is going to stand by to worked with the municipal government of baltimore. i think that this was a very very powerful statement that she made through her visit to baltimore, and i think everybody is going to be pleased on both sides, on any sides and all sides actually. >> pastor yeary, last thursday the national civil righ

marshal and jim cavanagh msnbc law enforcement analyst and former atf special agent. you poet for being here tonight. >> thanks reverend appreciate it. >> thanks reverend. >> others were involved but no other arrests have been made. what's your take? ? >> yeah. i think they really had others involved like they said in the affidavit, reverend al. we don't know exactly what they had. one thing that did stand out in the affidavit is they had a witness who saw the porsche drive on u.s. avenue northeast going out of washington towards maryland, and the witness said that the man had short cropped hair and was wearing a neon vest which was found in the burned out car, the neon vest and similar vests were in the savopoulos house. now wint does not have short crapped hair. you can see his booking photo. you showed it on the lead-in so that's the one public indicator that the detectives say who is driving that porsche because whoever is driving that porsche from the murder scene to where it was burned is involved. now, could that have been wint and the witness was mistaken or w

let's bring in jim cavanagh msnbc analyst and agent in charge for the atf with.t? >> i am a little bit but the judge made a technical ruling. i'm surprised because i think the officer's action standing on the hood of the car and firing into the two people here who committed no crime, were unarmed, it's just outrageous police behavior. i will not be surprised if the chief fires the officer. but i think the judge made a very technical decision here alex by saying he couldn't or that people were already decreased in the vehicle and this would not be manslaughter on the shots of the hood of the car and that the shots prior to that they argued his defense attorneys argued could be justified use of force as the officer thought he was being fired upon when it was shows from other police. this whole thing was a total disaster poorly supervised outrageous police conduct with the chase. this officer on the hood of the car firing into these two folks who did nothing wrong. just cleveland police has to be revamped. the chief saying they're doing that. it's an outrageous case

turn to nbc news law enforcement analyst jim cavanagh, retired atf special agent in charge.ood morning to you. i have to say, this is extraordinary, that investigators were able to find this suspect they say from dna on a pizza crust of all things. >> right, savannah. solid police work by the d.c. homicide detectives. they poured the resources on it. they were backed up by atf, fbi, lab, i'm sure. now they have the suspect so the whole complexion changes and wynn likely has fled. either criminal actor, a lot of cash in his pocket, tend to go to places like florida, california, caribbean, they have cash, likely to be in a hotel. he won't be free long because his picture will be all over the national media and social media and anybody he's in contact with, anybody, even a person he's known a long time is in danger because this guy will be a desperate man. >> you say it's huge to be able to put a name and face to this suspect that the d.c. police have identified so it sounds like you're confident that with that wherever he's gone, they're going to be able to find him. >> the gr
