westside shares are tumbling. by the most in five years.bank announced a profit of $3.78 billion australian. let's get to paul allen in sydney. the analysts surveyed were expecting a $3.85 billion profit. not a huge miss. the decline was due to earning in treasury business falling and lending margins have been falling as well, while bad debt charges have increased. capital ratio has improved. up to 8.8%. regulators are looking at requiring banks to have -- carry more capital. they plan to increase capital by $2 billion. overall, the market is pretty unimpressed with this result. following the most in five years, now off three and a half percent. the big four banks announced strong results, they tend to get sold off, so no surprise that for one is having an impact. though, shares were up 11% over the year. and shareholders get an interim dividend of $.93. not all bad. angie: thank you for highlighting that for us. one of the top decliners in australia today. back to the top story. four days of talks between greece and creditors have left the
