i've checked in with police here and police in ardsley. they say no major incidents reported as a result of this rain. it's come in waves the past few hours. the roadways tell the story. it has rained in batches as chris has been saying all morning long. we're looking at sawmill river road right now. it is damp. no ponding on the sides. the parkway that this feeds into, no reports of any accidents there. that's the good news in in area. even in bergen county when we made our way up here, it came in batches. the rain very heavy at times. again, police there telling me no major incidents to report. as we've been saying all morning long, probably want to take your umbrella with you. not the day to wear sandals. but so far so good. that's the late fres ardsley. back to you in in the studio. >> definitely not. a rain boot kind of day. i learned a valuable lesson covering hurricanes in new jersey. i usually do wear flipflops because your feet get so wet. warm hurricanes. you dry them off and keep moving. >> see, chris. tips from insiders. >> pat
