there was a lone cyprus tree that used to stand in the river all by itself. that kind of marked the territory. we thought with our anniversary, the 400th anniversary in 2007, we were thinking maybe it is time to look again. we know a little bit more about the kinds of artifacts that might represent an early settlement. and i had the privilege of working on contract with the park service looking at their collections from jamestown, and putting them on electronic database. and i noticed that there was this early collection of arms and armor, and it came from the area of the confederate earthwork on preservation virginia property. it just looked like a fort. it was early, it was military. at that point, bill kelso and another colleague got involved and looked at the field records to see if maybe something have been overlooked, some feature that looks like a palisade wall or a ditch. and sure enough, they kind of saw some things that looked like right angled features, that looked like they could be part of the palisade defense work. so, we approached preservation

the on going russian/ukraine fracas and the cyprus crisis, the italian crisis, the greek crisis. and once again, the greek crisis. they were all moments where you got great prices to buy high quality american stocks. plain and simple. but something is different this time. it's got people thinking of passing on the dip. this time the decline is feeling more 2007 to 2009 like. buying stocks in the way down meant you were going to have to continue to buy stocks on the way down and you were going to lose money. i know you feel it, i do too. you can measure it. we had 60 new lows. if you bought them on the dips you were afly mated. we had whole sectors that proved illusory. coal, i get that. the coal companies are in the crosshairs of the president and the epa. no way you can beat that. that combination. then coal spilled over to copper and iron and the makers of the commodities are on the ropes. who knows when or even if they can bounce from that bruising if you bought the dips in those you watch the stocks go lower still and then the commodity contagion spread to oil and gas and inc

the immediate neighbor of cyprus and already curious. what do you see the dangers of lebanon? >> thank you. maybe we'll go sarah, and then steve. >> on the numbers we don't have exact numbers of who has gone back. it's been one of the things we watch very closely after the vacate victory untikrit is how quickly and soon local populations that had been displaced felt comfortable going ban. many felton comfortable going back because they weren't sure who the authorities were and how they would be treated and also because they weren't sure what they would be going back to. i don't have the exact numbers. our forthcoming report, i can't give you a date but hopefully in the next month or so we'll have some of this information. it's one of the things we continue to watch closely to see not just who goes back but what they're going back to how and they begin to regain their livelihoods and engage with the authorities and also how they work with the central government in baghdad to rebuild a lot of what has been destroyed. that's going to be something very important to watch. >> great
