yesterday a search warrant was executed in the mattapan neighborhood in boston, according to "the bostonhomicide department, which led to a break in the case. we still don't know the cause of death, what led to this girl believed to be 4 feet tall, 3'5" feet, and police say they have an identity. her body was found in a plastic bag. we know it was found east of logan airport on deer island. a woman walking her dog saw the plastic bag, called police. it captured, as you can see here, her beautiful face, what was with her, zebra blanket, polka dotted leggings this little girl was wearing. there were lab tests and we know they found, up until now, pollen, which they were able to trace that back to new england to trees and shrubs there. so they believe it's a local girl from new england. they don't necessarily believe she was in the water, even though she was in a plastic bag. she may have been left right by the water. what's important to note so far, the medical examiner has said and they have no new conclusion, but they said there was no obvious sign of violent trauma, so they're looking i

last night a search warrant was executed, the mattapan area boston, according to "the boston globe." by a law enforcement source telling cnn, that man is the boyfriend of the mother of baby doe. this little girl disappeared june 25th on deer island, east of boston's logan airport. she was found in that plastic bag. it was believed she may not have been in the water, just discarded like a piece of trash on the side there. what we do know is that they've been able to find pollen on her. they tested the pollen. the pollen led them to trees and shrubs in the area, indicating to them that this was a local girl. that helped and then they got a tip. a tip was called into the homicide unit and yesterday they executed that search warrant. now this man is in custody. the boyfriend of her mother. he has not been charged. it's unclear if he has an attorney, if he's cooperating or not, but we do know there will be a press conference a little later today. >> in some ways this was such a public search, a social media search. >> absolutely. >> any sense if it was the public effort and attention that
