pacific northwest. it's part of hurricane oho north and east of the hawaiian island chain.t's still a category 2 hurricane. it's well offshore from california and it is well offshore from hawaii. it's 850 miles northeast of hilo on the big island so it's not going to hit the big island except for some surf. but even by thursday at 8:00 when it gets downgraded to a tropical storm it's still going to be basically at the same latitude as san francisco which is -- it's -- it's almost practically unheard of at this time of the year that a tropical storm remains together that long. now, again, even at this point we are not going to see anything from it. but the moisture stream is carrying all these clouds up into the pacific northwest. certainly could affect them and far northern california and it's just flat-out weird. and you can see that -- all that moisture the high is blocking that tropical moisture from coming our way so far. the wind hanging over the desert southwest. we'll have fair skies and warm temperatures and to sum it up numbers approach 90 by the weekend but no rai

north bay starting at 48 degrees. the east bay 54. and the south bay expecting 55. now let's get you out to the pacific. we are tracking some changes. check out the storm system 1,500 miles offshore. definitely looks potent. now the most, you know, heaviest rainfall portion with this will be heading off to the north, but it still looks like we could get at least a small portion of that storm system heading our way. so let's go ahead and take a look at the forecast and see what we can expect. tomorrow, no rainfall for us. filtered sunshine. high clouds on the increase. then we can expect low 80s inland. it's not going to be until sunday's forecast that we start to see this system drop down from the north. not a big storm. really breaks apart before it gets here. it looks like marin, napa, sonoma counties will be the best chance of maybe picking up a few sprinkles. only talking about trace amounts. likely see nothing as far south as san jose. it's not a big deal on sunday but if you feel a few drops, look up toward the sky, again, it is likely a spotty shower. we'll talk more about a better chance here coming up. let's get you into th
