fox25's stephanie coueignoux is live in yarmouth at the state police barracks with new details of how that trooper is doing at this hour. good morning, stephanie. >> reporter: and sara, thankfully that trooper has been released. he is now recovering back home, but he was rushed to cape cod hospital just after that crash. he is actually stationed here at the barracks right here behind me, but take a look. this is video of that trooper's video just after that crash, and you can see the driver's there. this crash happened at around 11:30 last night. state police told me a driver was going the wrong way down route 6 in barnstable. two troopers actually spotted that vehicle and started slowing traffic behind them as a safety precaution, but the wrong-way driver then hit one of those cruisers. state police told me the driver was going the wrong way. he was an elderly man who did have medical issues. he was also taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, but because this crash involved medical issues state police says, they are still investigating whether any charges will be filed. in
