those are the headlines...meteorologist cindi clawson is in for mike hoffman this week. cindi the end of last week seemed to be more active? how about weather in the week ahead? well clinton, i think we are still going to see some active weather this week, but let's start off with the u.s. drought monitor. we have seen some big changes, obviously in especially by the coast and california is getting a little better, still pretty bad, we have a long way to go there, but one thing that we might notice is that we actually don't have any drought in new mexico or texas and it's been years since we have actually seen that happen. we do see drought expanding a little bit into the great lakes, into indiana and into michigan, so it is getting a little bit drier in the eastern part of the country. heading through the week, we do expect to see some pretty good rains in the eastern part of the country, a little bit of snow, especially in the upper great lakes, some sunshine in the nation's mid-section, another system though bringing some rain and upper elevation snow to much of the ro
