the victim was struck by a car and killed in the southbound lanes near harbison avenue in what police believe was an accident. annie mccormick is live near the scene with the latest. annie. >> reporter: and sarah, investigators with the accident investigation division don't think the driver will face any charges. it appears to be a tragic accident. they believe the pedestrian ran into on coming traffic as he was trying to cross the boulevard. chopper 6 hd over the deadly accident on the boulevard near harbison where police say a pedestrian was running across traffic when a driver hit and killed him. the driver had the greenlight and swerved to avoid the pedestrian in the southbound inner lane, but the left side of the volvo clipped the victim and crossed the medium. the driver is a local doctor and stopped and called 911 and ran to help the victim, but medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. the accident caused a traffic nightmare for erl e several hours -- for several hours. for 12 years, numerous accidents have been seen here, this morning she saw several people run to help

it happened about 5:30 near harbison avenue in northeast philadelphia. police say the driver had the green light and tried to swerve to avoid the pedestrian. williams say the driver is a local doctor and stopped immediately to help the victim. no charges are expected. police have not yet released the identity of that victim. >>> trenton police say a fight over money led to the stabbing of four people. police arrested 31-year-old lashanda felton in connection with the incident. investigators responded at about 11:30 last night. felton faces three counts of aggravated assault and various weapons charges. one victim refused treatment. police say three others were taken to the hospital where they were treated for lacerations and then released. >>> now to the latest in the saga of the case against monsignor william lynn. today the philadelphia district attorney says he does want the court to rehear that case after lynn's conviction was overturned for a second time.
