they may be able to grow melons but don't have refry gei refri.o these all have been the subject of intense effort and investment by the international community for years. so, ideally at some point they are able to return to that. but in this current environment of conflict it's extremely difficult for these farmers, as you saw when you were there, sir and these people are very hard-working. they are willing. they accept hardship with the dignity and grace that we in the west find and very admirable and we should. but at the end of the day they have to survive so i think they fall back on, as you just articulated these things they know work. and so production of opium and then being paid in advance at the farm gate for their product as opposed to having to take it to market over a dangerous route that hey not work these are the choices they make and these are choices to survive. and so until we can create a stable enough environment for some of these economic development initiatives to take hold i think we're going to have this problem for some ti
