catherine walsh has been walking at applebeeness west hampton for more than ten years and today she turned 90 years old. our rahel solomon was there. >> reporter: at 90 years old not much surprises katherine walsh these days. well, except her own actual surprise party. how surprised are you. >> i'm very surprised. i didn't expect all this. >> reporter: catherine has faithfully worked at this west hampton applebees for the last 13 years and she has become something of a star around here this sexist practically reserved for her regulars. >> she remembers you, she remembers what you like and she is just a very pleasant waitress and that is what you want when you get out somewhere. >> reporter: catherine's manager tells me that part of what makes her so specialist her work ethic and it is something that you cannot be taught, something that age. >> we are a group that operate restaurants in 27 states across the country. we have 40,000 employees, and she's the oldest. >> she's a regular and we cannot get her to stop working. >> reporter: catherine says she has in plans to stop. >> happy birth th
