with eric hanson, elizabeth klinge, meteorologist kurtis gertz, and right-now coverage elizabeth: welcome back. dozens of crashes and spinouts on interstate 90 in ohio wednesday. several injuries were reported and all lanes of the interstate were closed because the ice and snow made it too dangerous for drivers. eric: a scary moment for a driver in canada. a truck fell into a giant sinkhole and ended in the freezing cold water inside it. a scary situation. the men in the truck were rescued by city workers and were very cold but were ok. freezing cold temperatures caused a water main to break which formed the sinkhole. these types of things happen this time of year and this morning it is really chilly. metinka: it is downright cold but at least it's not snowing in des moines just yet. it is still up near bismarck all tracking to the southeast. it is set to arrive in northwest iowa by later this afternoon. in des moines, a couple of you don't have much wind but it's enough of a breeze to bring the wind chill up below zero. -- up above zero. temperatures stay chilly with highs below average
