kinder, the president of the p-t-s-o says the idea for a blood drive came to her shortly after kendall bayne's memorial service. kendall passed away in october.. after fighting a rare form of cancer for nearly five years. her fellow classmates.. students from other schools and the entire community rallied around kendall during help with medical bills. and that fighting spirit continues this morning.. as the students at her high school will donate blood to help other people in similar situations. its very important to cancer patients to donate blood. most people think when they're donating their blood is going to go to a car accident or gunshot victim. cancer patients are one of the number one recipients of blood products. bump to: sot it was unanimous, timing wasn't right to do it until after the first of the year and then we lost another student, hannah, so we decided that right now is probably the best time to do it. hannah bryynt.. a 20-15 graduate of cave spring high school, passed away earlier this year after her battle with cancer. bryant was enrolled as a freshman at j-m-u when she pass
