. >> storm team 4's krs chris cimino is here with the forecast. >> not a big story in how much snow it put down, but snow, freezing rain and ice. 29, stonykill. and you get closer, you see the warmer air from the ocean. near the 50s in long island. and areas in northwest new jersey still icy spots. as the warm air moves over, the snow covered ground is creating fog as well. we have a winter weather alert. rockland, sussex county up north. the potential is still there for additional icy spots. making good progress now north. in addition, precipitation is moving away to the north. we're in a big gap for the morning. we'll see nothing more than a sprinkle from time to time. but the heavy rain that you see coming, this is going to ride up into the appalachians and make a turn for us later on in the afternoon. we'll get a good soaking rain. in the meantime, temperatures are heading into the 50s. rain breaks, heaviest bout of rain between noon and 3:00, 4:00. then it starts to exit as we head through the evening hours. axl lot changes. we'll talk about that and now the morning commute. >> we
