sonya gutierrez is going to show us how different the classroom is going to be. >> reporter: this is what a classroom looks like today here at this school. are come next year, students will have the option to finish a different story. >> you take it and carry it and put it back on there. >> reporter: the montessori program. >> you have to teach the child the lesson before they get it off the shelf. once the lesson is taught they can get it. curriculum finish at their own speed. >> we're excited. >> reporter: the teachers are already training for this. for 20 years i've been trying to figure out how to do what i wanted to do. are practical lessons in problem solveing skills. >> they're going to learn about the world and different cultures. >> this will take us to a whole new level. >> are $216,000 if is for materials and technology. >> we want to make sure all the students are ready by the time they leave. >> reporter: pair remembers are excited to have the option but know it's not for everyone. >> one of my children wanted to go with tall other kids. help didn't like to be on his own
