big storm system that produced a lot of severe weather the past couple of days in the southern and eastern united states. on its backside today, we've had the clouds and breezy conditions in eya. as that moves away, it will eastern iowa. that's why we're going to be nice and warm here for the upcoming weekend. you can see readings are already starting to get back into the 40s and we'll push it into saturday here. take a look at these highs. readings getting to 57 in cedar rapids and low to mid-60s will be a possibility in parts of south and western iowa. that's the westerly flow that brings the warmer temperatures. a cold front arrives on sunday. low pressure should form on a boundary down to the south of us and head toward the ohio valley. that could bring accumulating snow to eastern iowa. about an inch and a half in cedar rapids. maybe a little more in some of our southern counties. and the european model is much more bullish. it has 6 to 7 inference parts it's far too early to get concerned about some of the numbers, but the trends are there for accumulating snow. there's your forecast. 22 to 26 on
