the numbers regionally, in the -- let's go to aberdeen, maryland. good morning. go ahead.aller: hi. that c-span exists. i just want to say that i think this administration is doing everything they can. as far as trying to create jobs. i don't think congress is doing what it can. i do not know the last time that congress has done anything as far as trying to improve wages. i know many of the republicans say that if they increase the minimum wage that that would cut out a lot of jobs. but i really do not understand that. host: the minimum wage debates and other debates on wages in congress. shobhana: the minimum wage debate, huge issue. we have seen a lot of states, i think 20 or more states, increase the minimum wage at the start of this year. so, there is some movement on that front. a lot can beain, done to increase minimum wages. and not just minimum wages, a lot of groups are arguing for something better, something that will allow workers to even not purchasinge their power now but to put some aside for retirement. and to the caller's point about, you know, congress doi

the first one happened in aberdeen, south dakota, when i was living there and i had a little company there. and i got a call from a woman at the irs and she was rather nasty. and i told her so. and she said, you'll be sorry. and so, what do you know? i was audited for two years. and i've never been audited before. well, they did find that i had -- i somehow had lost a receipt from a motel that i had stayed on traveling on business so i had to pay a little bit of money for that. but they didn't find anything else wrong with my returns. but i tell you what that was. that showed bad employee behavior and not only that but bad management because they don't oversee or train their employees properly. give you another example that happened some years later that showed very bad employee training. i was -- i had sent my return in and later i got a check from them for about $8. and i wasn't due any refund. so i called up and finally located an auditor in the irs who said, send the check in to me and i'll take care of it. well, the way they took care of it was they sent me a notice that i owed
