josh thomas joins us now live from the county commission in bartow. and this josh disparity has some business owners upset and asking for change. >> reporter: yes, indeed. in just a few hour, county leaders will meet here at the county administration building and now in lakeland, you can buy beer, wine and other liquor on sundays before noon but outside the city limit, well, quite frankly, you have to wait. and lakeland's blue laws let's you buy alcohol from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m., seven days a week. but on sundays in polk county, you cannot buy alcohol before noon or after midnight. some business owners just over the county line in polk think that's unfair so the county commission will hold a workshop this morning to consider whether to end the disparity in the law between the city and county. there was some opposition to this change in the law including local colleges that feel that it could lead to underage drink on the weekends and. we will have the latest on what happens here at this county commission meeting on first at 4:00. >> yeah, a lot o
