here's gianna. >> it's still nice this morning.en an easy ride for the most part as you work your way towards the bay bridge. in fact, very light companies metering lights remain on but you have no delays at all. in fact, if you are hitting the roads you're in luck the same in the bay area. through the altamont pass, a little slow coming out of tracy but after that, no troubles at all as you work your way from the altamont pass to 680. that will only take you 15 minutes this morning. taking a look at our drive on highway 4, right now it's a little sluggish i would say 9 minutes so two extra minutes is all you will need if you travel between hillcrest and 242. a little slow out of antioch but again, traffic is moving nicely if you are heading towards the eastshore freeway. you shouldn't have any problems this morning. not any problems really out of the south. we have some slight delays on the northbound side of 101 around capitol expressway. two brake lights there and north of 280/680 things get a little busy there but you're still

frank. >> thank you, gianna. new this morning police in belmont are investigating a sexual assault near an elementary school. police say a victim showed up at the san mateo medical center just after 2 a.m. on thursday. she told police she was walking near nesbitt elementary school when the men assaulted. she said they are in their 30s with slick black hair and left in a hatchback. >>> four san francisco police officers have been cleared of misconduct in the killing of a man who was holding a taser. officers shot alex nieto two years ago. hundreds gathered to protest the verdict last night. officers shot him two years ago. police say they found him in apark acting irrationally. he pointed a gun at this. officers hit him 10 times with 59 shots. >> the criminal justice system doesn't play fair if a jury is white and there is a victim that's either brown or black. >> nieto's parents filed a wrongful death suit in federal court. the jury found the officers actions were reasonable and they did not use excessive force.

here's gianna. >> thank you, liz. nice to have you in today. all right. checking the roads right now as you jump on the bay bridge so far, so good. no major snags out of oakland into san francisco this morning. most of our bay area bridges are problem-free. that's the good news. one thing you want to look out for though is we have roadwork on 680 both directions between crow canyon and livorna road at least two left lanes are blocked. checking our sensors drive times still look good in that area. but keep in mind at least that closure will be in effect until 5:00 this morning. so at least about 20 more minutes. taking a look at your commute through 580, as you head towards the 680 interchange, the dublin interchange right now traffic is very light. at least from the top of the altamont pass heading towards 680. you want to look out for brake lights though. a little slow as you work your way westbound from 205/580 connector. sluggish eastbound. bart delays continue pacific bay point -- pittsburg-bay point line, about a 10-minute delay in both directions. t

gianna, also the roads? >> yes, definitely. so there is no train service between north concord and pittsburg-baypoint stations for equipment problems. they are working on it. it's an ongoing problem since yesterday causing major delays now. bus bridges are in place as a result to get you through that portion of bart. now, there will be shorter trains once you get on bart this morning. so extra busy conditions again through there. that means you might see some delays on the roads. we are dealing with at least 10- to 15-minute delays pittsburg- bay point line towards sfo. let's show you what this is doing to the freeway. it's busy for the morning drive. it's the commute direction but he will see busy conditions through there. 17 minutes now typical drive time between hillcrest avenue and 242 is only about 7 minutes. but again 17 minutes now so an extra 10 minutes for your drive just to get through this portion. delays at the eastshore freeway. we have a couple of accidents westbound 80 at minute noel valley roadblocking lanes --

let's kick it over to gianna. >> good morning. three separate traffic alerts. let's go straight to northbound 880 right now. we have two right lanes shut down between market and 7th due to a fatal accident a vehicle hit a pedestrian. you have delays all the way back into downtown oakland. 30 minutes to travel from 238 to the maze. use 580 as an alternate. or you can stick to your left in the lanes are closed on the right lanes are closed. east 80 at pedrick blocking the three left labors in the noncommute direction but sensors show delays westbound, as well. so give yourself a few extra minutes. word of a second accident at kid well near there. south bay traffic alert here montague expressway at de la cruz eastbound shut down for a three-car injury accident. delays in the area. eastbound lanes on montague expressway shut down at de la cruz. no word when the lanes will re- open. delays out of the south bay. northbound 101 slowing. northbound 87 as well. the bay bridge metering lights are on. traffic backed up well into the maze but it will be drier. here's paul

let's check in with gianna. >> let's head straight to the south bay right now. we have a brand-new accident northbound 101 right at yerba buena. right now delays back to hellyer. it's stuck in lanes. we have slow conditions northbound side. southbound side no delays. an accident in the area only 12 minutes along 280. looks like guadalupe parkway starting to see some delays this is morning. earlier trouble spot 242 over to the right shoulder. looks like it didn't turn out to be a vehicle fire which is good news. but we still have good delays 17 minutes hillcrest over towards 242. you're slow still out of antioch this morning. taking a look at conditions on the richmond/san rafael bridge, you're slow at the toll plaza. that accident also cleared but again busy as you work your way towards marin county and southbound 101, you're going to see some delays out of petaluma and again as you hit novato but once you hit 580, everything is moving nicely towards the golden gate bridge with no delays into san francisco. delays though at the bay bridge. metering lights are on

gianna. >> thanks, anne. because of the bart closures you might see extra busy conditions on 4 this morning. that's the case right now. slow-and-go conditions westbound 4 as you work your way hillcrest to highway 242. drive times from 7 minutes now to 11 minutes with speeds down to 25 miles per hour. that's that area of highway 4. a lot of folks might use that instead of using bart this morning. now, we have another trouble spot as you work your way out of san jose this morning. injury accident north 101 near old oakland road an overturned vehicle. fire crews and tow crews are in the right lane. nine miles per hour. so it is slow-and-go as you work your way through there. in fact, the drive team now almost half-hour or just beyond that now northbound 101, 280/680 at least to 237. your best alternate to avoid the delays along 101 is to use 280 instead. there are no delays through downtown san jose. there are delays at the bay bridge, business as usual backed up to the maze metering lights. not too bad on the a
