christian kaplan live for us near the oakland waterfront with more on what happened. christian. >> reporter: an incredible scene here. you can see the bullet holes that are riddled into the side of this charter bus. we have counted at least nine rounds fired at this bus, no word if there were more fired that simply missed but certainly a very scary incident for anybody who was on that bus for the bus driver. you can see those bullet holes in the side of the bus. we have another perspective on this, if we can take a wider shot so you can see, they are actually at the broadway off- ramp off of 880, that's where this whole incident happened. this is where the bus finally stopped. investigators tell me they are going to be heading up that ramp in a few minutes to examine the area where they believe this shooting happened. we heard this shooting happened on the freeway that the bus was driving on, another car pulled up alongside and opened fire. again, this bus appears to be a charter bus. no word on how many people were on board at the time of the shooting or what may hav
