police in western p.a. are searching for the gunmen who carried out a mass shooting that killed five people and wounded three others. the gunfire erupted during a backyard cookout in the borough of wilkinsburg. >> reporter: this is the backyard in wilkinsburg where police say eight people were shot last night, five of them have died, three people are still alive and clinging to life at the hospital. it happened about 11:00 last night in wilkinsburg. franklin avenue is where the home actually sits, but it's the alley hazel wing where they believe one of the gunmen was standing when he started opening fire. the other gunman was believed to be in a neighboring backyard and started firing as well. they say four people died here at the home and one person died at the hospital. at this point the medical examiner has not released any of the names of the victims. and police at this point don't have a motive and they are looking for the public's help in trying to find what they believe are two gunmen who opened fire
