commissioner hardeman, any comments? >> the h 8 is a success and reached an agreement with [inaudible] and that is moving along, so you are adding 30 more so what would that total? is the total 30 or is there-what will be the number? >> so, eventually commissioner hardeman we like to have a pool of upwards of about 100 people. we have had two hirings, one in august and one in january and yielded a total of- we actually had about 13 h 8 medics decide to take advantage of coming i moving into a full time status with us so we have about 25. hopefully we'll train another 30 but over time we would like a pool of 100 people and it is working very well. some members were able to evaluate and bring them on full time so it is a stepping stone, if you will. there are members that are h 8 that don't have a desire to work full time. this is supplementing their work assignment >> we deserve congratuless on this. i know [inaudible] that was very hard and everybody that worked on that deserves a pat on the back. very complicated >> it

please come forward. >> thank you commissioner covington, nakajo and hardeman. my statement is on behalf of president o'connor in regards to [inaudible] 798 is strongly backed proposition 8. we advocateed for a new facility since the start of station 49. we advocateed for a new fustillty on two easter bonds and told we have to wait for future one. in terms of the current bond [inaudible] isn't true. in fact, only phone call we got was to sign a valid argument prior-this was unusual because typically we get a phone call from the consult squnt giveren a plan of action to get the vote budget and so on. so, because we had no received all of that, president o'connor was leery of putting our name on a ballot argument prior to seeing the strategy. that said, we always had our own internal plan we use the resources we have especially after receiving the information to deploy our members out to use our own literature, but in terms of signing on to a consultant we hadn't met we believe it was unwaiz unwise to do so and ask we get the information brought to us as we had in
