police, it was a 17-year-old that stabbed 46-year-old dennis adams right on this street just behind us here. witnesses tell us he ran up the street, the 17-year-old, went to a neighbor's house where he told neighbors to call 911 because someone had stabbed his father. this all happened at around 8:00 last night on 3rd street. you can seeth at police are still out here, because they tell us this is a very active an ongoing investigation. around 8:00, dennis adams and the 17-year-old were fighting inside the home. it continued outside into the street, and that's when neighbors called adams suffering from multiple stab wounds. he was rushed to the hospital and later died. after the 17-year-old's story changed several times, they stopped scouring the area for a suspect and placed the teenager under arrest. we spoke with a neighbor whose family was home when this all happened. >> the guy screaming, stop, stop, to another guy. but she wasn't sure who the other guy was. but it looks like he was the suspect. or sounds like it. that's what police are saying. >> it's frightening, especially having ki
