jay korff has more. jay: two of those parents have children who attend schools that are catholic-affiliated. the person who makes the call's is that you need to wire us money, hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars. if you do, we will release the child, but it's a lie. the archdiocese of washington says somebody in the last day or so call the parent of a child who attends one of the archdiocese schools in the d.c. region, claiming they had kidnapped their child. a demanded a ransom. no money exchanged hands because the pa was a fake. the archdiocese declined to name the school, but in 2015, the fbi reported an uptick in this terrifying scheme. this person sent an e-mail to parents explaining what happened and alerting them to look out for the scam. among 32 catholic schools in the area. it is believed that one of the parents of those schools were called by a virtual kidnapper. nothing happened and nobody was hard, but parents are concerned. >> it makes you apprehensive and nervous. we checked the fbi we
