the delaware river. it happened early this morning, near columbus boulevard. cherri gregg from sister station "kyw news radio" is live near the scene where that vehicle was just pulled out within the hour, good morning, cherry. >> reporter: good morning, still very active scene as you can see behind me. rescue work remembers still working to identify whether or not someone was inside that vehicle which was just pulled from the delaware river. less than an hour ago, we just heard an update from captain mark overwide from the third district, police say they got the call just before 3:00 a.m. this morning, two witnesses, say, they saw a vehicle speeding down oregon avenue, they crossed columbus ripped through the gate here, at the shipyard, then crashed into the delaware river. the witnesses dialed 911 and police fire and marine officials of course came to the scene, divers immediately went to work, and within just few minutes they pulled a silveri white suv, as you can see, from the video we have, the front of the vehicle, severely damaged, front bumper rips off.
