yonkers fire chief john flynn and firefighter mike juro assess the dire situation. >> one guy is actually hanging on the scaffolding, standing on top of it. and the second victim is below him, beneath the scaffolding, probably another ten feet or so. >> we didn't know the extent of their injuries at that point. so the plan was made to have some of our members proceed to the floor nearby where they were hanging from the scaffolding to remove windows to establish communication with them, to assess their condition. >> the two men indicate they aren't hurt and their safety harnesses keep them from plummeting to the ground. but rescuers are concerned that may quickly change. no one knows how long the scaffold, or the workers, can hold on. >> when they sit in their harnesses for a long time it decreases the blood flow to their lower extremities which creates a lot of physiological problems. >> it's a serious thing. they were starting to get some of that because their legs were starting to get numb. it was a little cold out. >> firefighters first attempt to use their truck ladder to bring the me

this is claire in yonkers. 75 degrees where she is. we will talk about just who is getting the rain and when. but let's take a live look outside. hard to see. hard to see. got some fog out there. i think that was the empire cam. hard to tell. foggy and humid. the relative humidity is 94 with this weekend. it is unsettled tonightment tomorrow will be a repeat of today. and as will monday. 84 degrees that was the high temperature today. it is the norm. it is exactly where we should be. with the humidity, it felt warmer at times more like the mid and upper 80s at times. still, temperature wise right where we should be. 70-degree dew points. we consider that oppressive. that is where we were today. even higher at times with low far behind. but tuesday represents a bit of a change day as things start to dry out. here is where we are now. the vortex satellite and radar, you can see mostly green and light green letting us know we are seeing the lighter rain. a lot of areas not seeing any rain at all. but the setup, we have this area of low pr

it shows a shooting unfolding in yonkers two weeks ago. three teenagers went up to a group. one pulled out a gun and started firing. several people ran for safety. investigators say bullets flew by an 18 month old who was on the sidewalk. >> the people that were responsible for this, thy problem. and that's for another issue, but we have to get to the bottom of why these kids are doing these things. >> fortunately, the baby was not hurt, but a four-year-old was grazed by a bullet. yonkers police tell cbs news, they are close to making arrests. >> the unarmed black therapist shot says is the experience left him with nightmares. cell phone video caught the scene last week, charles was on off. he identified himself as a therapist, but a cop opened fire hitting kinsi in the leg. >> i'm mentally distraught. i have to play these tapes in my head every day. i can't sleep at night. you know, i'm thinking this could have went the other way. you know, i'm truly blessed to be here. >> police union officials say the officer fired at the patient thinking he was going to harm kinsi. he wa
