assaults where people have no where to take care of their hygiene and not a humane way for us to address homelessness we need to address the issue of encampments and i'll be remiss if i didn't mention the fact we sometimes forgot the people living around the encampments the businesses that are effected by the encampments are also victims in this narrative having their neighborhoods and businesses and homes disrupted they may feel it is unsafe and insecure not assure what is going on and the mayor and i and others department heads are working to address this issue so today, i'm happy to announce the formation of an encampment response team led by my further colleague jason for those of you who don't know has been working in homeless for many, many years and one of the best social workers i've had the opportunity to work with the funny thing jason was gailz supervisor at the community partnership back in the day he worked and jason spent many years as an member of the hot team and part of leadership of the hot team and or less working with law enforcement on the peninsula working with calls related too
