police arrested 9 year-old brian burns jr. and charged with aquavitted vehicular homicide, aquavitted robbery shirley duncan barns. the car she was it was hit bay stolen car late saturday. we talked to a whom who saw the crash and stayed with shirley till help arrived. >> sounded like a nuclear bomb went off. and the debris, everything just -- it was something you would see on a movie like fast and the furious. it was like are you serious? did that just happen? >> we also spoke with the victim's sister who shirley's husband passed away just two months ago. that deadly crash is part of a violent holodifficult travels weekend in cleveland. half a dozen people were also shot days ago. they do not come as a shock to some living in the city. >>reporter: the mom is doing whatever she can to keep her her fear being obvious during our talk. gunfire over the holiday weekend echoed with fear. why don't you want to show your face or share your name? >> i live in a city where killings happen every day. >>reporter: bullets flew @least 10 p

brian burns jr. has been charged in the death of sirly duncan barns. police say barns was speeding in a stolen car when he ran a red light and struck barns, sending her car into a building. morning and is being held on a $1 million bond. >> tia: 18 months probation and fines for the man accused of egging a euclid house more than 100 times. jason kosan received six months in prison but the judge then suspended that. the 31-year-old plead guilty to the charges last week. >> brian: a former stanford swimmer and convicted sex offender brock turner arrived at the greene county sheriff's office this morning. he was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman year. now, he served three months of his six-month sentence, was released. turner returned home to the dayton area and must now register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. that is the mug shot right there that he posed for today. >> tia: well president obama is on an historic visit to the country of laos. >> brian: he's the first sitting president to visited isolated nation and is alre

shirley duncan barnes was pulling out of the plaza when brian burns jr. was speeding and ran a red light and slammed his car into hers. duncan barnes's vehicle crashed into the building across the street. byrnes has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. >> brian: school districts across ohio may be grant money to help replace any lead plumbing inside school buildings. the money would go towards testing, sampling and replacing things like drinking four takens and plumbing fixtures. only schools built before 1990 are eligible, and in the last year schools in norwalk and sebring had water samples come back with high levels of lead. >> tia: well, time now is 6:38. quick question. do you still taste the pufrp kin spice latte? >> tia: you're not with the cool kids. the wait at the bus stop should be very comfortable today, right, sam? >> brian: evidently i'm not with the cool kids, sam. >> samantha: i guess not. i can have one psl of a year. it's really sweet, right? i don't think anything pumpkin right now either because it's still summer basically.
