a few patchy clouds for east bay, an isolated start back on your tuesday at 56. for the south bay mostly clear and 55 degrees. the largest change throughout this week really is a pretty big one. we've had several days, the past couple of weeks, with low average temperatures but high pressure is back. it is building in strong, has a lot of heat with it, but the other side component is the way it is setting up, clockwise motion around this will help to drive winds slightly off-shore. that will be good enough as you are seeing on the scrolling forecast to boost temperatures to the upper 90s by wednesday. on top of the heat the air quality also will suffer. for tomorrow it is at moderate levels across the entire bay area, but i'm really pinpointing wednesday for the day for some of the worst air quality this week when we might have a spare the air day issued. if you have allergies or suffered from any kind of respiratory problems it definitely will be tough the next 72 hours. as we get a look at microclimate forecast on tuesday, no 100s but you can see the increase. 9
