in oakland, i'm jessica florez, kpix5. >>> three people are recovering after shootings. it all started early yesterday morning on 52nd aver where a man was shot in the leg. later that afternoon, a shooter fired two people on durant avenue but missed. around 5:00, another man was shot and wounded off east 17th street, and late last night, a woman was hit on 92nd avenue. all of the victims are expected to be okay. so far, no arrests in any of those incidents. >>> an overnight police chase in santa rosa ended with a violent crash that left one person dead. here is a look at the scene. police tell us they tried to pull the driver over about 3:00 in the morning. they kept going loding officers on a wild chase, and soon after, the driver lost control near highway 12 in fulton road plowing straight into another car. a person inside the fleeing vehicle was killed, but so far, police have not confirmed if it was the driver or a passenger. >>> a fight for fresh air on the south bay. the issue, whether or not to expand a big landfill that people downwind call a public nuisance. kpi
