check out storm scan three you can see rain to the south with southern del marva peninsula and steady rain off shore. cannot the rule out maybe a shower coming in on shore, and same deal tomorrow but we are not deal where the steady rain. we thought it would be dealing with 2 inches of have rain. that is not the happening. tropical storm warnings remain in effect, for coastal new jersey to, in new jersey and settle dealing with strong wind gusts over 30 miles an hour. here's latest on post tropical cyclone her mine but still packing wind of 65. still on the move but expect to slow down make a northerly turn, today, and this is lingering off shore and drift off to the north and ease and then this could intensify to hurricane strength force wind which is 75 miles an hour but most of that wind energy stays off shore. still breezy though long the coast. wind not that bad right now sustained at 13 in at atlantic city and may increase later today and tonight gusting near 50 miles per hour tonight, and then tomorrow, as that storm intensify, and track further it does remain off shore. temper

parts of the delaware right now and embedded thunderstorm with lightening strikes, over the del marva peninsula over last several hours, maybe waking you up early. we are dealing with the area of widespread rainfall in center city philadelphia and parts of the southern new jersey. main concern is across delaware where we have a flash flood watch in effect and also some flash flood warnings in effect for parts of the southern delaware to the coastline and in effect some places until 7:15 this morning. also until 9:30 this morning. so take it very slowly on the roadways. watch out for localized flooding. we can see high amounts in the live neighborhood network over last 24 hours, dover creek, air force basis picking up an inch and a half have rainfall already, half inch in salem and half inch in the villas as well. we have a breezy condition. more rain slicker day then an umbrella day. temperatures are cool, 50's and 60's. throughout the day we will deal with this on and off shower activity, winnie conditions meisha with high temperatures only in the 60's today, so kind of a brutal thursday, in p

up we go to the del marva peninsula, southern new jersey where you could have a wind field that extend into portions of central delaware, southeastern new jersey and wind speeds could get as high as 40 or 50 miles an hour. brunt of this is off shore but if you are going near the the shore points, so again, this will be a big concern over the course of the weekend. it will certainly be breezy further inland but still just a chance we will end up with higher wind speeds in the city but they could peak as high as zero to 35 miles an hour perhaps. then by the time we hit tuesday, things are finally winding down with the worst at least of the win. you may not have any to report through southeastern, pennsylvania. so here's a good solid recap of what would be the worst case impact at the shore. specifically. wind gusts could peak as high as 55. at worst case you could deal with half foot of rain, just rain, at the shore. so that will easily lead to flooding. and then high surf and that leads to coastal flooding to, and rip currents, beach erosion all of that continuing to be a theme. at leas

to late this morning those storm cells off to the southwest they might try to move in the del marva peninsula but overall we will stay dry through the majority of the the day, it is not until later on as early as 3:00 p.m. a sprinkle pops up, and here we go that plume, starts to move in, 7:00 p.m., give or take, tail end of the typical evening rush is when heavier rain starts to emerge and it comes through somewhat scattered in nature but where you get hit you will get hit hard and that will linger into tomorrow morning until 9:00 in the morning we are still dealing with that and right through the rest of the day as the time stamped out here even toward 11:00 p.m., pockets of rain and showers. so with that said this system again still hanging on to friday and very likely saturday. i cannot rule out a shower at sunday at this point. it will hang tough. so for now expect quiet weather for next couple of hours, but showers firing up as early as late this afternoon and then tonight dropping down to 64 degrees and then again, majority of the seven day features one storm system, tonight, tomorrow,
