north las vegas police have now taken over the scene here at e apartment where alonso perez was arrested after a weekend long manhunt. the arrest was made by the criminal apprehension team. it was all done undercover and metro says perez was taken into custody without perez was originally arrested friday morning for the august 27th murder of mohammed robinson. detectives took perez back to the north las vegas police detectives bureau where they say he twisted and broke out of his handcuffs. he then slipped out of the office before officers say he stole a truck. every police department in the valley has been hunting for perez... as officers made him their top they get him in custody. he is a dangerous guy. they wanted to make sure that was their number one priority. they have been working around the clock." officers weren't taking any chances when it came to perez... saying they took him straight to ccdc. they say officers will be paying extra attention to him because he is an escape risk. reporting live, bryan callahan, 13 action news. now to that breaki double homicide in the northwest
