this is from one of our viewers visiting the adirondacks. good stuff. is whiteface mountain, if you have connections in new york you know that mountain well, it's kind of a landmark in the adirondacks. and the c catskills are looking good, too, this is from bill church, with crepuscular rays at their finest. and look at downtown st. pete, the show looking from the west and over the basin. waxing gibbous moon, 90% full, but temperatures, though, after a brief surge of cooler weather monday and tuesday it was back up to near 90 today. will the winds, though, they are staying northeast, and you would think northeast would be a cool wind. it really isn't, but the northeast wind comes in off of the atlantic which is obviously warm this time of year, and then and by the time it reaches the west coast it's heated up a lot and we have temperatures in the upper 80's to low 90's. a couple of sprinkles today, but not a real big deal, more on what is coming up tonight. right now it's a bright night, mostly moonlit, and the dewpoints are moderate holding in the mid
