one woman is dead and another critically shanice dunning is live with the details. shanice? >> reporter: well, sara, police have arrested the driver but you can see behind me, state highway patrol and cleveland fire still working to clear this accident on 480 west and we are right by state road where this accident happened. the state highway patrol tells me the accident happened around 9:00 tonight. two women were changing a tire here when a driver hit them. the accident originally reported as a hit and run. killed one woman and left the other with serious injuries. the driver kept going but police arrested him just off of ridge road, the next commit from where i'm standing. so not far away. the women were just getting ready to leave when the accident happened. >> from what my officers told me, they had just completed changing the tire and putting everything back in the truck and were struck. they were approximately five feet from the edge line, far off fro t road where they shouldn't have been impeding traffic or anything like that. >> reporter: the state highway patrol sai

shanice dunning is getting answers after remains showed up on saturday. denise. >> investigators believe was killed at his north olmsted in august before his body was dumped near the zoo and police arrested two men charged with aggravated murder and investigators say cashen had a relationship with one of the those men for six years. north olmsted police arrested 29-year-old anthony kennedy and 22-year-old seth wood. cashen lived in this home located on kennedy ridge with kennedy while they were in a relationship. police saw the men driving away from the house and arrested them questioning. investigators believe cashen was killed in late august. the coroner says he died of blunt trauma force to the head and neck. kennedy and wood were arraigned in rocky river municipal court and the case was continued until november 1 both given $1.5 million bonds. back to you. >> jeff: of course we are keeping a close eye on the cleveland area and we have a light shower sprinkle moving through right be quite nasty. an update on all of this coming up. >> tiffani: up next w

shanice dunning is live outside the justice center. >> reporter: in just an hour, davion perry will be sentenced around 1:00. it's a swift-moving case. he plead guilty to 15 counts including aggravated murder for killing 15-year-old sony patel, a beloved sophomore at mayfield high school. police say that perry shot sonny while he was working at his heights on october 14. after that, they say he went on a crime spree that weekend. after killing sony, he robbed a subway in university heights. on sunday he also robbed a dollar general in cleveland heights before police arrested him. sonny's family said he one day dreamed of going to college to become an engineer or a lawyer. the prosecutor told us that perry made a full confession to avoid a possible capital murder charge foril he will be sentenced at 1:00 today at the justice center. more on that later. >> tia: all right. we will continue to follow that story. well yesterday at noon we heard from one of the members of the rhoden family. her dad was one of eight family members killed earlier this year in southern ohio. the survivors still

instigating fight between toddlers at a day care in north jersey. 23-year-old erica kenny and 29-year-old shaniceserve three years probation. no children were injured in the fights. the crimes were uncovered when kenny posted video of the sites on social media. >> a newsman in texas was bitten by something more than the news bug. he said he wasn't sure what happened at first. he told his 18-year-old son isaac he felt dizzy. isaac went out to take a look around the car and discovered a copper head snake under his dad's car. he immediately went to the hospital being the dead kayd journalist that he is he posted on facebook making videos all day long about the snake bite on his foot. >> there's the snake that bit me. we smashed it up but -- and right there where they marked sit where i was bit and you can't tell by looking at this picture but, um, it is pretty swollen. >> after nine hours in the er art was released from the hospital last night. he is monitoring the bite from home. i'm guessing he'll keep you up to date with more facebook videos today. >> yes, indeed. he'll have something to do while
