year-old john vigna was arrested last thursday after three more female victims came forward saying that mr. vigna sexually abused them. one of those cases dates back to the year 2000. the other two are as recent as the 2013, 2014 school year and cloverly elementary. he turned himself in last thursday and we spoke with parent after the meeting, here's what one woman, who has known vigna a long time here's what she had to say >> i've been in his house since i was two years old. and you know, he's a family friend. he's a coach. you know, he wouldn't have been all of that. this was a few young ladies accusing him of happened in 19 -- why didn't you say something? >> reporter: vigna is charged with two additional counts of sexual abuse with a minor, child abuse, exploitation, three additional counts of third degree sexual offense and currently being held without bond. that's the latest in silver springs, sarah simmons fox 5 local news. >>> a major announcement today from maryland governor larry haring. the state is preparing to build connects charles county maryland to king george county virginia. it'
