tom mckey is live in cincinnati with the latest on this ruling. tom? >> well. good afternoon from cincinnati. it was just ten days ago that a jury was deadlocking on whether a former police officer should be found guilty of murder, should be acquitted. since that time the prosecutor has talked with about half of those jury members and he came away convinced that he could tbetd a conviction on those same charges in a second trial. now ray is said to be very disappointed that he's going to have to stand trial again according to his attorney. but matthews believes his client going to to be found not on that second trial no matter where that trial actually takes place. it's very unusual for the prrks to of venue but that's what the prosecutor did in this particular case. so where is that trial going be? will will be another retrial? that's going be decided next monday in a hearing before the ornlal trial judge megan shannon. will she stay on case? she's expecting her first child in a matter of a couple of weeks. that's up in the air as well. reporting from cincinna
