eric ross has been on the scene all afternoon. he's live with us now. at least two dozen fire and police agencies from illinois and southeast wisconsin are out here right now---searching for man who went under around 1:15 this afternoon. thwn chief told me earlier this afternoon that this is not a houx and that golf course staff on the other side of the lake did witness a man go under. flight for life was in the air----while dive teams and air boats search the lake without success. unfortunately- -police say it's unlikely anyone could still be alive after being under water for more than 3 hours. in waukesha, eric ross, today's tmj4. police say two of the massage parlors raided are owned by the same person. they are the alleged prostitution taking place inside the businesses. tomorrow the milwaukee public school board will discuss the district's proposal for schools to start in august instead of september-- our casey gerao learned the latest in their plan. when we last covered the district's proposal they hoped all schools would start in august as of next year, but now the school board and the state will approve just the high schools beginning early for now. it happens with a waiver from the state for special and underperforming schools. m-p-s says nearly all their high schools fall under those categories. superintendent darienne driver says the month of august has the best attendance in schools...one reason she feels students will perform better with an earlier start to the year. mps has full support from state superintendent tony evers.
