tim elliott joins us with how that process going so far. tim: wisn 12 news talked to the county clerk. she says things are running on schedule. they have more than 240,000 ballots to count there. they pre-test all their machin and those were reading ballots correctly. workers will be back at it at 8:00 this morning. they had just wrapped up for the day at midnight. it is up to each of the 72 counties whether they count the ballots by hand or machine. the deadline for finishing the recount is december 12th at 8:00 p.m. that is so the results can be handed in on the federal recount deadline december 13th. melinda. wisconsin. they are paying the entire cost of the process, $3.9 million. each night the recount results will be sent to the wisconsin elections commission. the commission will then post updates online of the results from around the state. those will be handed to the federal government on december 13th. the electoral college is scheduled to meet on december 19th to formally elect the next president. look for big story coverage of this
