[inaudible] >> we are now left wondering what will come of these efforts with the change of administration. what can we expect from the work going forward? >> thank you. it's great to be here and as i look out i'm looking at all of these colleagues and folks who have been working on these issues for many, many, many years and it really is upon your work and advocacy that we have a doing our work in the federal government for these many years and i know all of you will be continuing the fight for justice you know, there has been a lot of anxiety and prognostication about what will happen with the policing work and the like and just a couple of things i want to say such erastus cynically about our policing work at the civil rights division. to start with, it is one pool among several that exists at the justice department and karol mason has the diagnostic center which works with police agencies and does funding for state local and obviously at ron davis at the cops
