this executive order was designed to deal with the immerging threat. as isis is losing space the remainder have to go somewhere. everybody believes they go to the seven countries that were listed. it's not just us. the obama administration believe that. the concern is you have to have mechanisms in place that if they try to come to the western united states you're prepared to deal with that. i think what was on the mind of the incoming administration is on january 20th we own this. if something happens it it's on watch. if there's a terrorist attack on the 21st of january nobody is going to accept, well, we just did what the last guy did. my point is i think there is a sense that we own this and we need to be responsible and get our processes -- >> why not just slow it down? it's not a matter of whether they do it or don't do it. it's a matter of doing it whether everybody is in place. the list of seven nations here, the majority of muslim countries where there have been no attackers. those countries that haven't been included, they are not on the list

as this movement has immerged globally. think it's knocked people off balance and there hasn't been this kind of confident -- president obama is projecting it. when we look around the globe we have to find other partners that will do that as well. it can't all rest on the shoulders of one u.s. president. there has to be from the political leadership to the young leaders that were engaging and to everybody in between a concerted effort to say no. this is what we believe to be true. this is what we believe to be right you know, it's going to take a sustained commitment to push back against it. the only way, if you're consistent and building relationships and networks on behalf of what you know to be true ultimately it is going to win out. we can't just say in the media envie vonment -- i mean the splintered media environment it could appear that the truth is not winning out. it can't cause you to give up and say well, this is a hopeless situation. you have to learn how to react and say i will and make sure it is the truth. >>
